GreenHer Centre of Excellence

The first Slovenian research centre dedicated to interdisciplinary green heritage science within a collaborative European partnership. GreenHer CoE is an autonomous unit of the University of Ljubljana.

The vision is for GreenHer CoE to become a leading hub for research and innovation in heritage science and a global powerhouse enabling green and digital transition of the heritage sector by working together with policy makers, industry, academia and heritage stakeholders.

The Centre will establish new and refurbish existing research facilities at several partner locations, train PhD students, and develop an exciting portfolio of research within four research cores: (i) Green Conservation-Restoration and Built Heritage; (ii) Sustainable Landscapes and Heritage Management; (iii) Values and Participatory Engagement; and (iv) Digital Heritage.
