On 15 Oct 2026, the staff of GreenHer CoE had the first townhall meeting to discuss the state-of-play, developments and plans for the immediate future.
Following the formal establishment of the CoE, the past few months have been particularly busy with the establishment of diverse administrative processes, delivery of six GreenHer project deliverables and employments. With the Governing Board established, the employment of Co-Directors, as well as post-doctoral and doctoral researchers is underway. Central Office colleagues are also being appointed, with several more job openings still active. See the full list of staff members here.

GreenHer is also actively developing project proposals and already successfully applied for four EU Horizon grants, in collaboration with numerous European partners. Of these, our role as an Advanced Partner in a Twinning project of the Horizon Widening programme is particularly exciting. More coming soon!
Our investment planning activities are in full swing and we are finalising the public face of the CoE, which will find a new home in the new ground floor annex to the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the University of Ljubljana, planned for 2028.
